Mechanical "pull-off" tester for testing coating adhesion. A test-dolly is bonded to the coating using an adhesive, and pulled orf after drying. The numerical value of adhesion is expressed in terms of the force required to remove the dolly. Suitable for coatings on metal, concrete, plastics etc.Delivered in carrying case with all accessories incl. glue and 20 dollies. 

Hydraulic adhesion tester (HATE) pushing the dolly orf the surface with the aid of an hydraulic cylinder. The dolly is first glued to the coating surface under test. The dolly is equipped with an internal hole, through which the cylinder of the instrument is pressed, thus releasing the dolly. The value of the force is displayed and recorded on the dial analogue indicator.

Delivered in carrying case complete with 5 dollies, glue and dolly heater.

This portable range of hydraulic adhesion testers provides users with the ability to measure the bond strength of coatings on a wide range of substrates. With the unique testing head design, each gauge ensures a perpendicular (90º) pull irrespective of the surface contours or orientation.

Each gauge has the ability to test adhesion up to a force of 40kN (8992lbf). Adhesion ranges of up to 120MPa (17400psi) can be achieved depending on the test head / dolly diameter combination chosen. Each test head is fully interchangeable with the base unit.
